Launching AI-generated podcasts to viral fame
The Brief
NotebookLM is Google's new AI tool for researchers, students, and anyone who wants to study with the help of AI. We created a series of launch videos that focused on 3 key features of NotebookLM, including the viral-sensation, AI-generated podcasts.
My Role
As the motion director overseeing this project I was in charge of assembling the team of animators (a combination of Hook staff and freelancers), creating a structure for how we were going to work, and giving creative notes and feedback throughout the process.
Outcome
NotebookLM's "Audio Overviews" feature (the one with the AI podcast hosts) quickly became the talk of the internet. The look and feel we developed for the video influenced the design of the
NotebookLM landing page, and Hook has gone on to make many follow-up videos and animations to help bring awareness to this powerful AI tool.
